Concept & Lore Riko Shinomiya is an original character designed for a dystopian sci-fi setting. She interprets the concept of a modern Samurai: a warrior of noble descent fighting for justice in a ruined world. Her design balances the elegance of her lineage with the harshness of futuristic combat gear. The name "Riko" (利口) symbolises her sharp intellect and brilliance on the battlefield.
This project focuses on creating a high-end character with a style inspired by PlatinumGames' action titles (dynamic silhouette, blend of organic and hard-surface elements).

Technical Workflow
Sculpting: Created in ZBrush, focusing on clean forms and sharp hard-surface details.
Topology: Retopology completed in Maya, optimised for complex deformations and real-time rendering in Unity/UE5.
Hair: Base structure created, currently refining with FiberShop for the final real-time version.

■ キャラクターコンセプト ディストピアな未来世界を舞台にした、SFテイストの女性侍(サムライ)です。 高貴な生まれながらも正義のために戦う「強さ」と「美しさ」、そしてSF的な装備(ハードサーフェス)の融合をテーマにデザインしました。「利口」という名の通り、知性と武力を兼ね備えたキャラクターです。
■ 技術的なこだわり
造形 (Sculpt): ZBrushを使用。女性らしいしなやかなボディラインと、硬質なSFアーマーのコントラストを重視しました。
トポロジー (Topology): Mayaにてリトポロジー済み。激しいアクションでも破綻しない、変形(デフォーメーション)を考慮したエッジフローを構築しています。
